Below you will find options that we have available through our credit union affiliated vendor. Mailings regarding these options are mailed twice a year. As other offers become available, we will feature them here.

As a member age 18 or older of The Southern Credit Union, up to $300,000.00 in optional coverage is waiting for you. No doctors to visit. No health questions to answer. No lab tests to take.

You are pre-authorized to receive up to $300,000.00 of Accidental Death and Dismemberment
Insurance*, underwritten by Minnesota Life Insurance Company. In a few minutes you can activate important coverage that could be there for your loved ones should something happen to you. 

You cannot be turned down for this coverage due to age or health. All coverage reduces by 50% at age 70 and older, regardless of age at enrollment. Help make sure your family can have money to spend for rent, mortgage, utilities, tuition, loan repayment, or for anything they choose when
you’re no longer with them.
 
If you haven't already received a letter in the mail informing you of this coverage and offer, one will be mailed to you soon. You MUST accept the initial $1,000 that The Southern Credit Union offers you, free of charge. Once you've accepted that policy, you're entitled to pursue other types of coverage.

Confinement benefits reduce by 50% at age 65, and reduce to 25% at age 75.
